Judo is primarily an idividual sport with all of the expenses resting on the competitor prior to Olympic team selection.

A tremendous amount of national and international training and competition is required to qualify for the Olympic Team between now and June 2008.

These expenses range from training, travel expenses, lessons, and equipment for both national and international competition.
